Charles Quinn Frutos
Charles Quinn Frutos is a writer/director originally from San Jose, California, where he collaborated with local filmmakers, learning the ins and outs of independent film production. He moved to Portland, Oregon with the intention of going to the NW Film Center. Instead he ended up at Portland State University where he took a year long course in writing for television under actor/television writer Thom Bray. He also took a screenwriting course under Charles Deemer. Portland State University is also where he met Ryan Gard with whom he would collaborate on several short film projects.
Charles’ credits include writing and directing the short films: Smile., Night Moves, Loved By You, All Roads Lead Home and Because You're Mine (currently in production). His first music video D.O.A was for the band Titarius. He also directed the Walking at Night and directed and co-wrote the award winning short After the Party.
